This position is located in Portland, OR

Pay: $18.00/ HR

Shift: 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday

                     

Primary Responsibilities:

The warehouse clerk is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual and automated task necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product to prescribed quality and production standards and in accordance with ISO procedures. This may include functions or receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, ect.

Essential Function of The Position:

• Pulling and delivering Kanban orders
• Basic knowledge of inventory management
• Loading and unloading truck and containers
• Stocking inventory
• Receiving purchase orders utilizing the warehouse management system
• Verifying daily production of boots and scanning to a factory cart
• Operation of stand-up reach forklift
• Cycle counting
• Able to have a flexible work schedule and work overtime as required.
• Responsible for maintaining work area and operating equipment.
• Assists in training co-worker as required.
• Works together with cross functional teams.
• Follows all safety rules and procedures.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area.

Other Functions:

• Other duties as assigned by warehouse supervisor or production management staff.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years in a Distribution center using warehouse management system/radio frequency (RF) handheld terminals.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job functions.
• Dependable with good record od attendance.
• Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Practical PC Experience
• Must be able to lift 50lbs and walk and stand a minimum of 8hrs a day.
• Forklift certification and experience
• Able to have a flexible work schedule and work overtime as required.
• Possession Of a valid driver license
• Familiar with in and outbound shipping procedures

Physical and mental requirements:

To perform this job successfully and individual must be able to perform each of the essential job duties satisfactorily.

• The employee frequently is required to use arms, hands, and fingers to handle, feel or reach.
• The sensory requirements for this position include vision, hearing, and touch.
• Frequently lifting, standing, bending, and walking 8 hours a day on concrete floor
• Must be able to lift/pull 50 pounds with no restrictions.

Education and or / experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment
• Basic English skills are required.

Work Environment:

100% of work is spent in a factory and distribution setting.

Licenses/Certifications Required:

• Valid driver license
• Forklift certification or ability to become certified.
